For students looking to strengthen key behaviors—like recall, loose leash walking, or focus in distracting environments—or work toward an American Kennel Club (AKC®) and/or Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Title, we offer a range of advanced training opportunities.
This section is designed for those who have completed our Focus & Control for Teens or Foundation Skills for Adults classes. Looking for even more ways to practice? Be sure to check out our Advanced Manners Packages!
This four-week class will solidify the skills you learned in Focus & Control or Foundation Skills class. Each week, you'll work on a new topic, including: adding and working around distractions successfully; passing new dogs and people in a calm and successful way; settling down in public spaces and working on "eww, leave it!" in the wild. These field trip classes are held in locations around Olympia and Tumwater.
Do you want to know what’s beyond “sit,” “down,” and “stay”? Do you have a dog that struggles with “down time” in performance or pet friendly venues? Maybe you were impressed with the skills of a service dog and want to see if your dog can get there?
We've combined two topics classes to tackle two of the hardest skills to master: recall and loose leash walking. For graduates of our Focus & Control for Teens or Foundation Skills for Adults class, come join us for this fun field trip class!
If you’re working towards your CGC Title, or you want to hone your skills and progress towards our Advanced Manners Class, this is the package for you!
